Earlier this summer I went to Vienna, Austria for a weekend and had a chance to explore the beautiful city. I wanted to give my top 3 favorite places to take photographs!
1. Schönbrunn Palace
This is the winter palace of Vienna which is just a short train ride away from the city centre. This location is perfect because it’s perfect for architecture, landscape, and nature photography. The palace grounds have several nature walks including a hill after a steep walk 🙂 that has some amazing overview looks of the city.
This street has some of the best architecture you could imagine if you’re looking for that european feel. There are colorful buildings, lots of people, and the St. Stephans cathedral is nearby. There are several compositions up and down the street and plenty of opportunity for detailed shots of the buildings.
The coolest experience are the vineyards of Vienna! If you want to get away from the busy city and relax with some wine then this is for you! Vienna is the only capital city in the world with vineyards and you can take some landscape photos while enjoying a bottle of wine. What else could you ask for?
