To simply put it, the Cliffs of Moher have been elusive for me! I lived in Ireland for about a year and attempted going twice but the weather was so bad I didn’t want to ruin the views. So I always thought I would come and try again since I lived there…. but only did so once more (same thing happened again!!). So the main goal of this trip was to see the Cliffs of Moher. Fingers crossed!!
And guess what? The first day was so foggy you couldn’t see more than 20 feet!! Failure number three!!
It wasn’t worth going but good thing we were staying in Galway and could come again on the next day. And luckily….the weather was amazing! About halfway through the day all the clouds cleared up and the blue skies and sun appeared. The weather was actually a bit hot! But I’m not complaining with the views we could see!
I ended up shooting three timelapses, one from the central area with the Syrp Genie Mini panning across the cliffs and coastline. The other two were on either end of the Cliffs which you can walk right up to the cliffs edges! All videos were shot with my Nikon D7100 and 28 mm f/2.8 prime lens between 2 and 3 second intervals.
Enjoy all three videos!
